ABOUT ME

Brooke Shunatona is a social media marketer, digital content creator, and strategist. She is also a contributing writer for Cosmopolitan, and additionally, her byline has appeared on the websites of Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Bustle, and Byrdie.

She previously held the Senior Beauty Editor position at Cosmopolitan.com, where she oversaw the Cosmo Beauty & Style Facebook page, wrote and edited beauty news and market-driven stories, and created content for digital and social platforms — all while trying every product that came across her desk.

Brooke earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri. She also spent a year studying at Macquarie University in Sydney and strongly debated never going back home. Brooke is now living her best lake life in Michigan with her husband and precious pup but is always planning her next trip back to NYC (and Sydney, for that matter).
